NATURE'S RIVER ROCK AGGREGATE

Marion Clay and Gravel, LLC (MCAG) purchased 872 acres in beautiful Columbia, Mississippi, along Hwy 43 in the Pearl River basin. Our geologic exploration teams has verified aggregate reserves that should keep us mining here, into the 22nd Century.  This treasured aggregate mining location was formed over millions of years due to weathering and erosion of rocks, The action of rivers and waves tends to pile up gravel in large accumulations.  This can sometimes result in gravel becoming compacted and concreted into the sedimentary rock called conglomerate.   Aggregates are also used as base material under foundations, roads, and railroads. To put it another way, aggregates are used as a stable foundation or road/rail base with predictable, uniform properties (e.g. to help prevent differential settling under the road or building), or as a low-cost extender that binds with more expensive cement or asphalt to form concrete.

We've compiled a highly-specialized business team: (1) Plant operations experience in surface-mining and ground water control, (2) Process-oriented industrial sales staff;  (3) Commercial truck transportation management; (4) and Customer information and administrative support specialists, that will unify our efforts to best serve our customers and their specific needs.

Current plans are to bring this Columbia Plant operation online around mid-late October. Click here for a map of our location
